In striving to grow closer to Jesus, we must learn to live like him. The Education in Virtue p
rogram embodies a way of life rather than just offer resources. It provides an in-depth knowledge of the theological and moral virtues and the process of growing in virtue. The simple tools taught in the Education in Virtue program help us all learn to use the gifts God has given us.How do we learn about virtues?
- Talk about saints who embody these virtues
- Whenever a student is spotted exhibiting one of the virtues we study, staff fill out a fish with what they did and the virtue they were "caught" doing. These fish are hung on a bulletin board at the school entrance.
- The virtues are woven into homilies during Friday morning Mass each week
